JUSTIN LOPEZ — “JUST N KEYZ”

Justin Lopez, professionally known as “JUST N KEYZ,” is an extraordinary 12-year-old Puerto Rican-American child prodigy, multi-instrumentalist, music producer, and performer who is making a powerful impact across the Latin Jazz, Salsa, and contemporary music communities. Known online through his Justin Lopez Music brand, Justin has developed an impressive musical vocabulary at an early age. He performs on piano, synthesizer, keytar, congas, bongos, trombone, and timbales, allowing him to move effortlessly between melody, harmony, rhythm, and performance. Justin began building his musical resume at just five years old, performing at notable destinations and cultural institutions across the country, including the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, Elvis Presley’s Graceland Mansion in Memphis, Tennessee, and the Toulouse Theatre in New Orleans, Louisiana. Raised in a musical family, Justin has been surrounded by rhythm and performance from an early age. He frequently performs alongside his father, percussionist Ralph Lopez, while continuing to develop his own identity as an artist and producer. 

Beyond performing, Justin is actively involved in creating and producing his own music. His official single and music video, “I WISH,” showcases Justin’s versatility as a young artist. The recording features Justin taking solos on both timbales and keytar, while also co-arranging the track with his music teacher, Adan Perez. The project demonstrates that Justin is not simply learning music—he is actively participating in the creative process of making it. Justin has also had the opportunity to perform alongside and share stages with renowned Salsa and Latin music artists, including Frankie Negrón, Luis Damon, Roberto Blades, Papote Jiménez, Frankie Morales, Tito Puente Jr., and members of Uptown Royalty, among many others. One of his recent musical milestones came with an invitation to perform at Dizzy’s Jazz Club, where Justin had the opportunity to perform some of the legendary compositions associated with Eddie Palmieri on piano—connecting a new generation of musicians with the rich history of Latin Jazz and Salsa. Music and Puerto Rican culture are also central to Justin’s identity. In 2025, he won the Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade pageant, earning the distinction of being named Prince of the Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade. The honor represents more than a title for Justin; it reflects his commitment to celebrating his culture, music, community, and the next generation. 

As Justin continues to grow as an artist, he is expanding his education in music engineering, reading, writing, production, and live performance. His passion for learning has helped him recognize and develop talents that he now shares with audiences and communities throughout the country. But Justin’s ambitions extend far beyond the stage. His long-term dream is to attend Harvard Law School and become an entertainment lawyer, combining his knowledge of music with an understanding of contracts, intellectual property, and the business of entertainment. Ultimately, Justin dreams of using those skills to own and operate his own record label, creating opportunities for himself and other young artists.
